Desimi
The bay Desimi located on the east side of the cape Geni to point joins the rest of the island. It is a very impressive, quite close especially the two ends, namely that there are beach. In the middle of the beach there is a tavern. Waters spent the day there seemed no good, while many boats were anchored very limited space that you can swim, although certainly not want to swim between them. The beach is pebbly and from that we were told, a short distance, there are some caves and water can rent bicycles to visit.
Rouda / Mikros Gialos
5 kilometers from Vlycho and 6 from the main road and the village after prosper name resource, you can reach the beach Rouda. The bay is the white pebbles and the calm blue waters are clear of the most beautiful beaches in the southern part of Lefkada. Behind the beach, where there is enough space for parking, other than camping, have built several rooms, restaurants and coffee but the atmosphere is calm yet. In some beach loungers and umbrellas for rent, but to occupy a large part of it, leaving much room for those who want to spread their towels on the ground. Ammousso / Kastri
Among the villages and Marantochori Kontarena, do not miss the turn to go to the bay and beach Kastri Ammousso. 5 km from the main road, we reach the beach, a small bay with fine pebbles and water. There are some sunbeds / umbrellas for rent and behind the beach there is a cafe / restaurant.
Agiofili
A beach diamond, competing in beauty to the west side of the island, a short distance from the Basilica. Located on the east side (left) of the Royal Bay and go two ways. Whether by boat from the Royal or road. From the most beautiful and not so famous beaches but attracts crowds during the high season.
Vasiliki
The Beach is very long and is divided into two parts, located in the eastern to the western village located in the Sea. The east is a normal beach with enough sun loungers and some pebbles. At the top, after the road are a tavern and two beach bar and the camping. The western part of the beach, delivered entirely in windsurf and other marine sports. Behind the beach except taverns and restaurants there are several shelters for group coming to the floor and the atmosphere is generally available everywhere. The basilica is known throughout Europe and is an ideal place for learning because the sea is shallow and adequate air.
Porto Katsiki
Porto Katsiki is perhaps the most famous and most remote beach of Lefkada. From high, and where park before descending the 80 steps leading to the beach, from panoramic white pebbles and sand beach with blue water clarity is such that you can see the shade of the vessels and swimmers at the bottom. Egkremnoi
Another famous beach of Lefkada “Egkremnoi”. Here lies the beauty of the beach seems to come down before down on the views of the sea down the 300 steps leading to the beach. It consists of a combination of small pebbles and sand and is surrounded by cliffs.
Gialos
Gialos beach is a combination of pebbles and sand, but not very attractive, while in the water there are large kotrones. The beach is huge in length (but quite wide) and other can be better. Above the dirt road along the beach through the trees were free camping tents and trochoviles were everyone stopped there.
Kalamitsi
In the village of Kalamitsi are three beaches: Avali, stride, Great Stone. These three beaches do not know if it is contiguous, separated only by some rocks and what are the limitations of each. A beautiful with magnificent transparent deep water, pebbles sand in places and dispersed large rocks in and out of the water. The canteen located above the beach has some tables to sit in the shade and also operates some sunbeds with umbrellas set out on the beach.
Kathisma
Kathisma is the second most famous beach of Lefkada. Like other beaches on the west side of the island, with which impresses with her color of the sea. Blue near the beach is becoming deeper and look at the horizon. The beach chair is also very long and wide. Milos
Milos is another spectacular beach located between the seat and Agios Nikitas. To reach the Milos you can either take a boat from the beach of Agios Nikitas or walk. It is about 15-20 minutes walking on a path that climbs the hill that separates the two beaches. When you reach the top and the front would definitely go Milos fatigue from rising directly. Agios Nikitas
In this beautiful passage has its own beach, right at the end of the central pedestrian “Agios Nikitas. The bay is small and quite crowded, but with clear water. Pefkoulia
2.5 kilometers north of Agios Nikitas there are two other beaches, the water and the Pefkoulia. We went to Pefkoulia, where the beach is in there somewhere with rocks. The left side has two more restaurants / coffee is more developed and has sunbeds.
