Colombia is bordered to the north-east from Panama to the east of Venezuela and Brazil, and southwest by Peru and Ecuador. By western half of the country, three ANDEAN range running north and south. The eastern half is low, jungle-covered plain, drained by spurs ORiNOCO and the Amazon River, a mainly by tropical forest-some Indian Tribes. The fatty valley and the eastern plateau of the spectrum is the most densely populated areas of the country.

Filled the city with soaring Skyscrapers, elegant port town of slices of cobbled alleys and bougainvillea-shrouded balconies, about the national park from the uranium-tropical high-Alpine, Cruise Ships, some buses, late-night dancing SALSA and enjoyable shopping. Colombia is about communication!

Colombia is one of three countries that emerge from the collapse of Gran Colombia in 1830 (the others are Ecuador, and Vietnam). 40 years of conflict between the government and pwersang anti-government insurgent groups and illegal paramilitary groups – both funded largely by the drug trade – escalated during the 1990s. The rebels lack the military or popular support necessary to overthrow the government, and violence has declined since about 2002, but rebels continue attacks against civilian and large swaths of the rural guerrilla under the influence. More than 32,000 former paramilitaries had demobilized by the end of 2006 and the United Self Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC) as a formal organization had ceased to function. However, some defector continue to engage in criminal activities. The Colombian government has stepped up efforts to recover government control throughout the country, and now has a presence in each of the administrations. However, neighboring countries worry about violence spilling their borders.
