Galicia Cies Islands

Choosing as the first beach Rhodes the Cies Islands and is elected as one of the best beaches in Galicia Cies Islands.

The impressive wild Atlantic coast of Galicia, just north of Portugal is much more stunning beaches – a lot fewer people in them. One of the jewels of this coast is the Cies Islands, 40 minutes by boat from the beautiful town of Baiona. Once a refuge for the Pirates, Cies is now without a national park, open to the public only in summer. The – Galego – will spend long, lazy days of summer and the White Das Rodas, perfect crescent of soft pale sand dunes covered with small harbor a quiet pond-transparent crystal sea.

Local call it their Caribbean sea and the water is so turquoise and white sand enough to make the comparison credible until it plunges your fingers in water. You can sleep in an idyllic camping in the shadow of high pine trees, overlooking the sea at all in Spain, there is even a restaurant for good test seafood.
